Just as often, however, the studies may be negative, but there still will be physical symptoms of a brain injury such as headache, nausea or vomiting, fatigue or drowsiness, problems with speech, and dizziness or loss of balance. There might also be sensory problems such as blurred vision, ringing in the ears, or changes in the ability to smell or perceive light or sound. Memory or concentration problems along with mood swings can occur as well. It is important that you let your doctors know of any of these problems or symptoms as soon as they become apparent after the incident.
Many times we see that the focus of the doctors and hospitals immediately after the trauma are on other, more apparent or life-threatening injuries. Because we have handled many brain injury cases over the years, we are familiar with identifying these injuries and articulating them to judges and juries. Our goal is to include all of your injuries in your case to receive the best result for you and your family.
